Was going through the local Craigslist and saw this 77 F150 for sale; I think it's a Freewheeling edition. Wish I could convince my wife that a second truck would be a good idea. Anyway, thought maybe someone else in the Portland area would be interested. Looks like a good truck for $700. 77 Ford F150
Unbefreakinlieveable. You guys west and south got it made! That truck, were it sitting on the Chicago Craigslist, would be going for $3K... $4K... $5K. Been cruising Craigs' myself pondering a change of pace with the upcoming tax return. I couldn't get even remotely close to something that nice.
OK everyone, my girlfriend just bought the truck today. We just returned to south Seattle with it. Nice drive down to Oregon City, Oregon. It needs a little TLC, but that's the fun part of these old trucks. Truck runs pretty strong and looks good going down the road. She say's she loves it and she's Ford truck crazy now....will be joining this site soon. I told her now my truck, OrangeJuice, has some competition...hehehee
You all just have to remember when you see the truck at the right price buy it. Shipping would not be that bad. I got my 1975 hi boy from S.D. and had it shipped to Pa two years ago, gas is cheaper now, I paid $800.00 unloaded it and drove it home. Even if that would have been $200.00 more shipping for the x-tra distance it's worth it.

X2, this is exactly what I was going to add as I was reading this thread. It's a lot cheaper to buy a rust free truck from out west and have it shipped here than it is to buy a rust free truck that's already here.
Even if we fix the rusty body on our trucks, we still have a rusty frame. The "out west" trucks are a good starting point for a nice build.
OrangeJuice,
Good to hear that someone who appreciates the truck got it. If I didn't need a 3/4 ton I would have bought it and sold mine since I still have to do body work and paint. My sister lives in West Seattle, so maybe I'll see it driving around up there sometime.

THAT is awesome, totally awesome!!! The truck AND the girl that likes em!! You ARE marrying her soon right?! And make sure she dosen't give you a pre-nup on the truck
Really, congrats on the truck! I was contemplating if I would enjoy sleeping in it enough to buy it,,,, (the finance committee's exact phrase is not printable!)
