I've got a 1970 Econoline van, with a completely stock 240 I6, I've read here that Ford started using a split exaust manafold on the 300 I6 in the mid/late 80s, exactly what is this split? would it be like headders, 2 outlets from the manafold itself? Would it be worth while to upgrade to this manafold on the 240, and run true dualls, with turbo mufflers? or should I just have a good turbo muffler installed in the present single system?
