heater control valve
I am looking for the heater control valve for the freshair heater for 1953-56 trucks and probably busses. I am not looking for one that works. I need to find some that have been replaced by something else because the old one did not work. I know most of the non-functioning valves are probably thrown away but am hoping someone has the old one on a shelve somewere.

Someone may have one somewhere, but unfortunately, when you buy one new or rebuilt that is the stock type, they require you to trade in the core. But maybe someone will have one

Fits: 1948/56 all (except S/B). Use with fresh air or recirculating heater.

Mine was already gone from the truck but I went out and got a valve from a mid-80's ford bronco, fairly cheap and works well...just installed it in-line with one of the heater core lines in the engine bay and used the stock control cable to operate it.
