oil change

So Is changing my oil every 5000 miles using delo 15w 40 and never towing anything more then a small motorcycle trailer ok for my 6.0 I hear and read about how hard the 6.0 is on engine oil I used to do my 7.3's every 5000 miles no problems is the 6.0 harder on oil? anyone change theres sooner then 5k?

5000 is where I change mine at...but I'm using Rotella T sync 5-40

The 6.0 shears the oil. 5,000 mile intervals is what 95% of the people here, myself included, seem to change their oil at. You should have no problems.

I use mobil 1 and still change it at 5,000.
