Cam question
What kind of cam would this be in a 302. TQ30H Erson Cam for a 302 Ford. Has a intake duration and a exhaust duration of .050 = 226. Has a gross lift for the intake and exhaust of 0.493, lobe center is 110. Thats all the info I got.

2500 to 5800 rpm is the operation band. While just a little high for a truck, advancing the cm about 3 degrees would bring the band down about 500 rpm and a .25 differential gear reduction would compensate for another 300 rpm making this truck a screamer!

No.. for that you want 195-205 duration @ 0.050" and LSA of 114 or more. Lift of up to 1/2" or a smidge more is no issue.

Yeah, power comes from lift, and the power band comes from the duration.
