Nuckle and spindal Question

On a 78 dana 44 front axle, is there a difference between the nuckle and spindals from a 1/2 ton to 3/4 ton?

I know you can swap a complete 3/4 ton onto a 1/2 ton 44 axle but I am not sure if you can mix parts between the two.

I think the spindles and knuckles are different.

First this only alppies to the straight axle stuff. When you start talking about the TTB axles then nothing will swap over to anything other than what it was made for. Some early TTB 1/2 ton set ups share the same rotor and hub and that's it.

The straight axle stuff as emntion will swap between each other with no problems. I think the only difference may be in the bolt pattern on the knuckle which is what I thik the question is about. I think the OD where the axle goes through is larger than the 1/2 OD. Croos reference the part numbers and see if they are the same or different on autozones online site.
