Need transmission ID help
I have a 1994 F-250 4wd, with a 5.8 and auto transmission. I assumed it was an
E4OD. I bought the pickup not running and just got done installing a service box in it. I now have it running but have only put a few town miles on it, when I noticed that it has a shutter when taking off from a stop. Today I changed the transmission fluid as per the tech article on here.
I noticed while under it that the tranny pan looked differant than my 96 so I got to comparing them and searching on here. Here is what I have found,
-17 bolts on the pan
-Overdrive cancel button on the shifter
-Trans code in the doorjam says code G
-I haven't had it out on the highway, so I'm not even sure if there is an OD.
