Loud GPR?
hello, i just installed a GPR109 because my old one never worked when i bought the truck. but it is normal for it to be loud? it sounds as if there is a bee next to my ear. i was listening to it with the hood up and standing in front of the truck, dont think i would be able to hear in the truck with the hood closed. normal?

I cant speak for Jake's truck, but I can hear my GPR. I have been able to ever since I replaced it with the Napa 109. I wouldn't say its a loud noise, but I know its the GPR, I can hear it while its on and I can hear the relay click off. Whether or not thats a good thing, I dunno, but...its been on there 2 years still going strong.
I don't have ESOF, and I don't believe I have a vacuum pump. I can hear my fuel pump come on too, but thats a diff noise.

the noise was only there when i installed the GPR109, but i gotta say, i live in FL and it was 21 degrees this morning and the truck started with NO problem! im actually pretty excited considering i used to smoke out the yard with all different colors of smoke lol.
