Grill Guard Placement?

With the grill guard in this as: eBay Motors: 99-04 EXCURSION SUPERDUTY F250 F350 GRILLE GUARD BLACK (item 370144494215 end time Feb-12-09 17:19:23 PST) How would it bolt on? I have seen a few ones that bolt like this. On the inside of the tow hooks, not the outside? Thanks

Usually, you remove the bolts (either 2 or all four), placing a bracket around the tow hooks. Tighten the bolts back up and then bolt the grille guard to the brackets. This is how most are done.

This looks just like mine (also from ebay) - there should be pics in my gallery. Hooks are on the inside of the brackets - had to be slid in just
a little to make it work but tow hooks were preserved. They're now covered up because I added a front receiver hitch - but all in all the brush guard was a relatively easy install.
