Yep, I used to be extremly please with my SuperChips programer and would be today if I hadn't tried DP-Tuner. The superchips does read codes, but that's all now....

When you say "2 way SS" exhaust do you mean duals? If so then the only way to go is MBRP. I have a Diamond Eye kit, and I wouldn't recommend it because of how friggin hard it was to install. Which reminds me... I need to tweak it again.
Everyone else has you pretty well covered on the other stuff. If you can be patient sometimes good deals pop up- I just bought a DP Tuner with an original cost of around $500 for $250 from this site.

There are plenty of other folks who are just as knowledgeable, maybe even more, than Gale Banks.

when gale banks started it was primairly gas engines he made products for
when other companies have started with turbo diesels and have stayed with them

i'm not knocking bank's quailty just their customer service and price on stuff that can be had for less and some of it is acually better than banks products

Just a quick Q or 2. What is the practical max for the fuel pressure, and shouldent that 4x40 be stainless for compatability with fuel?

AFE Stage II w/the "pro dry" filter. You wont have to wash this filter. You can get it back to 99% efficiancy with a vaccum. I had another companys intake and was told it was crap so I searched around and decided on the AFE II. The battery box seams to seal to the hood well and creates double the volume for air inake. The filter seems to be about 1.5 times bigger than other companies. Although some like the 6637 mod wich is a paper? filter that looks pretty close to the AFE...I was pretty impress with AFE's intake tube, battery box, fit. I chose this system becuase it is one of the best at sealing out the heat. If you are concerned with cost the 6637 mod would be the way to go. If you are going with the AFE II make sure you search around. The price varies from place to place.

From my old (non stock) "upgraded intake" the the AFE II, I noteced a 2 mpg gain on the highway.
Hope this helped

ITP Diesel. ITP Diesel, LLC is a good place to start. Fair pricing and good customer service. Also very good products.

You can search "Froogle" Googles search for shopping. I think thats what I did when I bought my AFE II. I compared it to ebays prices before I bought. You might want to go to AFE's website and make sure that is the filter you want. I think they have 3 to choose from. I picked that one because I dont like having to wash and wait for it to dry. I also dont like having to oil it. It seemed to be the most maintenance free.
