Air in Fuel
How much air in the fuel will it take to keep the motor from starting? I pulled off the return line off the HFCM. . . . plugged the port on the HFCM. . . . and ran the pump. The fuel coming out is definitely milky. . . not clear. I'm going to test the fuel pressure. . . not really sure how much that will help however. I want to test the vacuum from the pump back to the tank as I suspect a leak somewhere letting air into the system. Any good ideas? Is the drain port on the HFCM a good place to tap into for a vacuum reading? I'm either thinking its an air leak or the pump is taking a dump. The pump doesn't sound healthy when running. . . but I want to visually verify its performance before I go replacing things.
