Believe it's the wiper switch that's acting up on the 65. Checked with various sponsored, and other Ford parts supplier's and can't seem to find any who carry the switch. Believe I have a used 1 stored at another location but for the cost of gas it would likely be cheaper to try and find a new replacement. It would be appreciated if any members could let me know if they have found a source. Thank you!.
The closest one to you...and me since we are both west coasters is Antique Ato Supply in Arlington, Tx...they have 3...their number is 817-275-2381.
The p/n is C3TZ17A553E
Double check your VIN...this sw. is for units BEFORE 760,001...its used on 64-6 F100/250 with 4 terminals on the switch as well as E10064-6 with bosch or 2 speed motor.
its also used on bigger trucks as well...1964-6 F500-950,N-NT 500-850,T700-850 before 802,001
Look on the switch and see how its marked...should be C3TB17A55A which was replaced by C3TB17A553E...these though arent p/n...engineering numbers as I recall...the C#TZ17A553E IS the p/n though...

I may have one...I will go double check my collection of stuff...
cs65, again thank you for coming to the rescue but please don't make a task out of the looking for the item, if anything like me, usually end up unpacking several boxes in search of an item. I will check the VIN in the A.M. and once confirmed I can call and order one. It's been a number of years but seem to recall it is a 3 prong connector, but will check that also tomorrow morning. Again, cs65, much thanks.
Bill...run a p/n on that site and rerun it with 1 or 2 others...chances are it will show the initial available part not being available...extremely frustrating.....
Throw in an earthquake or two as well. My sis is watching that volcano pretty closely up north and ready to get out of town on a moments notice they have a plane that can get safely away and live right next to the airport.

You know what they say about Mt. Rainier, doncha?
If that in-active VOLCANO wakes up, the melting snow will flood the entire Puget Sound region, not to mention the ash fallout, and the lava flow.
Can't happen? That's what they said about Mt. St. Helens.
"I'm lea-ving...on a jet plane...don't know when I'll be back again." More song lyrics, can't remember who sang them.
Oh yea, we have our safe room all ready to go. we're on one of the higher hills around and not near the valleys but poor old mom in law is right in the path in orting. Massive housing developments down there population control I think. The one I'm looking at is Jellystone if that one goes we're all in for it!
Just seems with these bizarre weather patterns over these past few years nobodys safe regardless of where they live. Earthquakes, fires, volcanos, tornadoes, hurricanes, and what ever else Mother Earth decides to throw in the mix. Either install pontoons on the truck, or I may get some religion and start building myself an ark.
