First Time Shop Visit
I took my truck to the local dealership (Lithia) for the first time yesterday. I have a small oil leak and also the belt wines bad. The belt looks ok, might be a pulley or tensioner. I also asked them to look into why my windows back and front always get scratched up due to going down and up. He said that was covered under the three year 36,000 mile warranty, truck has 40,000 miles on it. He said he would ask Ford about the windows. My truck is totally stock engine wise, so there should be no issues with the warranty work. Not bad for the first time to the shop, and I hope I do not go back for visit soon.

As far as the windows go, I have the same problems with the scratching. There is a TSB on these but as your dealer stated is only covered under the 3/36 warranty "or" if you have the premium service plan, I have the xtra-guard. I bought my truck new with the ESP but ford wouldn't cover it after my dealer also inquired about it. I brought mine in at about 40k ASSuming it would be covered. NOT
