Ok guys I have searched and searched regarding the weeping problem and believe one of the main issues causing the weeping is the crank case pressure..... I seems like no matter how many times you get the leak fixed at the bell housing, it leaks just after bringing it home. Dealer explained it is because the factory CCV is not sufficient enough. Now I have learned how to reroute the CCV but my question is has anyone improved the CCV by doing a custom MOD of some sort.?????????? <!-- / message --><!-- BEGIN TEMPLATE: ad_showthread_firstpost_sig --><!-- END TEMPLATE: ad_showthread_firstpost_sig -->
I've got a Cold Air Kit from Jobe Performance. It has a crankcase vent that ties in with the intake (between air filter and Mass Air Flow Sensor). Only problem I can see with that is the potential for overpressure causing engine to "run away". I'm thinking about venting another way and plugging the hole in the intake pipe.
