Drive it down to Las Vegas (70 tomorrow!).... it's warm here! I don't know how you guy's get by up there in the winter. Coldest I've been in was -25 in Ellensburg, WA quite a few years back during an Artic freeze!

Got a cover over the grill, like a piece of tarp that covers the grill and goes underneath the truck a ways as well. Old fashioned trick to make a vehicle run warmer in cold wx.

be sure to have an aftermarket temp gauge so you can keep an eye on what's going on with the front grill covered up.

Palmer not exactly warm. About the same temp as here in Kodiak. I am not sure, but they do make rapid heaters for the cab if that is the warmth that you are looking for otherwise the most you can get is a block heater. If your temps are getting as low as what we are seeing I have gone to the poor mans heater and dropped a drop light (the old school style) under the hood at night. It gets to about 100 degrees and helps to keep things warmer.

Make sure that things not in contact with any hoses, electrical, or plastic. I can't see that as being too safe.

If you didn't know this your truck does have a block heater on it and most likely has the cord its just hidden behind the passenger tow hook.
