CPS Question

I have been having some issues with my 02 Ex PSD. I have been getting some hesitation when taking off from a stop. I just changed CPS a few weeks ago. When I went to plug the wires back into the new unit, I noticed the little green boot was gone from the wiring harness. I was just wondering if this could be the cause of my problem. I am wondering if this could cause me to have a loose connection.

Sorry Bobby Joe, I don't do colors. I didn't know there was a green boot there. Is it a ribbed o-ring kind of thing that goes inside the plug? If so, that's designed to keep moisture out of the connection.

Try wiggling the connector (engine off) and see how much movement you have in the plug. A loose connector could cause a problem, but it should also set the CEL (check engine light)

Ya, the ribbed o-ring thingy. I'll give it a wiggle. Thanks
