it works...you'll notice the address bar change when you click on the permalink tab and you can copy and paste that url..

I used to just click on the post number and then c&p the url - but then you only get the one post

Look at the url address bar, the post #changes at the end of the address........ so you can save that address and return to that exact post to save looking all through the thread to recover it!
