Oh i can't decide....HELP

I'm in the market for a newer truck. I previously own a 97 ford 4x4 ext cab but she's got about a half a mill miles on her, so i need something a lil more dependable while she gets work. I have spotted a truck but is it a good deal? can i get some opinions? the truck you can find listed here>>>

It seems to me its a bit on the high end.....but it also does look pretty loaded and have relativly low miles....

2004's had a few potential problems to look for...

1. Spark plug siezing....I'd INSIST on the dealer having the spark plugs changed...and replaced with champion 1 piece plugs prior to you purchasing it...and request proof its been done...those plugs can break (stock ones) and cause a pretty good headache

2. Drive it around alot...make sure theres no rear axle noise....If i recall there were a few axle problems in the first year....

3. Make sure the 4wd engages fine...and makes no noise..(just good idea on any 4wd used)

If they do that and everything sounds good...it looks like a great truck and you'll probably love it....

thanks for the input, i also forgot to metion i checked kelly blue book and in excellent condition its only worth $14,995 (less than 5% of vehicles fall into this category) so therefore i'm looking for a price of right around 14,000 for the sale.

pretty truck

but I'd be looking for about $12,000-13,000 for it.

about 70,000 miles on a 5yr old model isn't worth $16,000, or even $14,000 to me

I paid 16k for my 2004 F150 with 14k miles in 2006 granted mine has nothing since its a STX but still. This is 2009, I'd say thats WAY to much.
