Hedder and a Cat question
I have a 99 f-250 5.4 triton v-8. I have already strait piped my truck from the cat back. Im still not quite happy with the sound. I wanted it to be a little louder and a little bit more like a big block. Ive looked into headers but withe the very small amount of clearance i will only be able to install short's in there. I heard that the short headers dont have the same effect that im looking for basicaly a loss of time and money. IS this true? If i do go to headers i cant find a place in the dever area where i can get a resonable priced pair. What about a high flow cat? Woudl i have enough back pressure with no muffler? I woudl really apreciate your reply and thank you ahead of time.
