Disappointing decision
Man...I went and decided to go with the Flowmaster 40 Series mufflers on my 78'. I know kinda wish I stuck with glasspacks. I like the sound of the Flows at idle but they're too quiet on the road. I like the way the glasspacks sounded better. All well....I switch back 10 years from now when these go bad. =(

Disappointing decision
I have the 40 series on my 71 and they are plenty loud in the cab, almost to loud. If I am trying to talk to my passenger I have to turn the stereo volumn almost off. Mine dump under the truck at the back axel. I had glass packs on my truck for a few years to, and I actually like the flowmasters better. I even put a flowmaster system on my vette. They are REALLY loud inside the vette, but sound great.
