Ive recently repalced the oil pump in my 99 V10 without pullin the motor and ever since then it seems like the engine or tranny is bogged down or at least holdin back some power somewhere? could i have forgot to hook a wire back up? or something easy like that?
it will not run Rpms hirer than 2500 before it shifts weather i have the gas petal to the floor... and its not showing any codes???
it litterally feels like a have lower gears in it...help
Could it be possible you broke something loose when you replaced the oil pump that may be causing blockage in you oil gallery? Do you know what you oil pressure is?
My second thought is... maybe you need to check your fuel filter and/or line.
What problems did you have before you changed you oil pump... besides needing an oil pump?
Don't just throw the "magic in a can" at it just yet.
If it's shifting like that with your foot to the floor, I bet the TPS is unplugged, or the MAF is unplugged, or there is unmetered air getting past the MAF (although, that should throw a code eventually).
Check the air box - where the MAF wires go into the air box there is a big rubber plug. Make sure that rubber plug is fully inserted into the box. With all that work, you might have pulled the plug out of the box. I did this to mine while putting headers in it. It ran much better afterwards, although I didn't have that type of shifting issue.

Many regard Seafoam as just that. Personally I'm not fond of the stuff.
Sounds like something mechanical or electrical from the pump install that was forget, moved installed wrong and etc. If the truck was fine before the pump change and isn't right after I'd say the fuel system is probably fine.
Haha i never promised Seaform would be more then a bandaid. I just inform you that out of the many types of fuel treatment, seafoam seemed to do the best.
