check engine light O.D. light flashing
Hello everyone has anyone had this happen i tried to save a dollar(a few really) by buying a low mileage transmission 64K miles i had a local mechanic install transmission when i was about to drive out of his shop the check engine light is on steady and O.D. light is flashing steady, that were not on b4. i know i need to pull codes but if anyone might have an idea i'm open to comments to as where trouble is, truck is a 97 4.6 E.B. 4x4 trans is 99 from 4.6 4x4 64k miles

You need to take it right back to him and let him see what he did wrong. Sounds like something he did to me. Maybe need to clear codes? Computer might be in a rut because of the other tranny.
