Anybody using QuickTax this year?

I've been using it for the last few years now, file on line, yada yada yada.

Anyway, I was looking at costco dot ca, futureshop dot ca, and bestbuy dot ca. All 3 show the price at just under $40, but Bestbuy is also showing a $19.99 item as well. I tried doing a product comparison through their website, but all it shows is a picture of the same box. Just wondering what the huge gap in pricing is? Could it be a point of sale rebate? Or is it a lesser value ie: fewer included returns?

I'll have to go and check it out tonight.

Well, I guess I found out what the difference was, at staples dot ca.

One is the Standard edition for $39.99, the other is the Basic edition for 19.99. The standard edition shows it comes with a $40 mail in rebate.

I'm thinking I'm gonna go with the standard and get the rebate, making it free, minus the tax I gotta pay.

 

I think some are limited to 5 or so aren't they. I used to use QuickTax or something similar. I have seen some commercials on tv that say you can go to their website and do them for free.

My Uncle is a tax guy among other things so he does ours. Best of all it's free.

 

We get 8 returns this year.

My father in law has it, and he offered me use of it, but I've got some figuring to do with some investments joint to my mother and I. So I can't be going back and forth between his house and mine to do it. I'll have to look into taking his cd and installing it onto my computer maybe.

Did some more digging about that mail in rebate at Staples. It's for Norton 2009, if you buy QuickTax Standard. That doesn't help me at all.

I took it on trade on my little excavator.
Yup i fixed the dog pen , I took the panel out and ran over it to straighten it back up.

And I got my 94 truck running good again today.
Well I hope it is ,I just drove it around the block and it went so fast it scared me so I came home again.
I forgot how much power it used to have.
I guess I have to get back at the dead 02 next again.
The guys in the 02 Forum will be hiding when they see me coming again.

 

Run into it to wreck it.....run over it to fix it...I like it!

 

Ill sell you mine and Ill store it for you free, if I can use it.

You should sweeten the deal by letting him use it to do work around your house.

 

Think that dog pen looked bad after your truck ran over it? Just think of what I could do with a tractor.
