Spring rate.
I've got an 82 F150 4x4 with a 460 in it. The motor has been it for a number of years and i am fixing the truck up. I'm rebuilding the front end and want to know what rated spring I should put in it. The added weight has destroyed most everything and I would like to prevent that again. Napa has some springs rated at 337, 366, and 423. I want to do it right but I don't want it riding like my 88 F250 my neck can't handle it.

You are going to have to guess at this one. There is nothing to go by, the f150 never had a 460. Possibly someone who has done this swap will write in. I don't know if a f250 2wd spring will fit or not.
