how about a G2G at Alamo Lake?

I am planning on 1 or 2 weekends at Alamo Lake in March (BASS should be spawning) anyone game for a couple days of camping?
My wife is taking a nursing exam in March so I have to work around that time but will post up a date if there is any interest.
And yes Cris I could whip up a batch of cinnamon rolls.

here is a lame state web page.

Arizona State Parks: Alamo Lake: Home

I don't camp in the camp ground. I go north of it and camp directly west of wayside

I dunno about camping...but a day trip might be possible...maybe even an overnite hotle stay nearby...hopefully better than the one we stayed at in Flagstaff!

We're not campers but it's less than an hour's drive for us. Count us in. I'm famous for homemade baked beans if that would help.

Count me as a maybe. I'm taking my week of vacation mid-month. With my company's scheduling style, that'll give me 19 days off. My wife and I will be gone for part of it, but a little camping might be in order if we're around.

here is the fish we caught at alamo in 2006 on our third trip of the year, this is about 2 hours in the morning and I had already filleted the stringer of crappie.

nice string of fish Bart...

I really prefer salt water fishing though...

My Father and 3 brothers and I hit a school of mackeral once and landed over 200 fish in 45 minutes!

best trip was a deep sea charter out of Newburyport,Ma...6 of us caught a combined total of 300 lbs of haddock back in the late 70's
