I'm sorry if I had a choice of Deer meat, Beef, Chicken or seafood, I would have an toss up between deer and seafood

Joe has had deer a few times and said it was really good but I just havent had the opportunity to try it yet. Its not a big deal to me, he hasnt had rattle snake so I just keep it at that!!!lolol

I used to love fresh fish(used to go camping alot as a child) but when a bone got stuck in my throat, my dad and grandpa decided to fish it out with a pair of pliers and a flashlight!!! Since then, I have only had orange roughy?.......2 times....I think. I have pretty much sworn off all seafood!!

Used to get Elk meat every so often when we lived in Montana, it was pretty good.

I pretty much stick with the basics-beef, chicken and pork- it kinda sucks that I have this fear of fish but I cant help it!!

Deer can be good, if it's done right. And, depends on what it eats. Corn fed deer can be kind of gamey, compared to brush fed, but corn fed is somewhat more tender. Now, If you have a choice between deer and elk-no comparison, the elk is waaaaaay better. Deer is good for sausage, jerky, and ground up for burger also.
