Need correct u joints 93 F150

93 F150 302 extended cab Auto transmission 2wd.
Have NAPA, Advance Auto and Autozone here.
There are 2 u joints?
Whats better, greasable or non-greasable?
Would rather spend a little extra and have long lasting or durable ones. Read reviews saying MOOG sucks now...
No off roading really except going down decent dirt roads, once in a while little muddy, to bring my Pitties swimming. Dont even have mud tires on them. 31 10.5 15 General Grabbers as i drive highway too.
What to get? Extra things to replace while there? Please advise. Thanks 🙏
Aungelique
I will not be doing this job myself.
Love my truck! almost at 300,000miles has awesome A/C too. I do take care of it

I've always done greasables, but my mind is changing on that. If I was doing a set now, I'd spring for the Spicer non-greasables.

Do you need to worry about …? Vin code N is a 302/5.0L. Engine size is not relevant when buying universal joints.

Extended cab: Chevy

Super cab : Ford

to be fair weird things can be engine specific but not be engine items it depends on packages and factory trends with diff size. Like did 2wd half ton trucks get roof markers? If so cool but I almost always see f250 4x4

in terms of drivetrain the u joints between a half and 3/4 ton may vary but the engine options for a half may, for example, not exist in one or the other.

I have made many extra trips over the years thinking I had the correct U joints. Now, I take the old ones with me and match them up before I leave the store. There were so many different ones used.

Yep there are many! I’ll let u kno how many trips it took haha. Thanks for ur effort in replying. I appreciate all of u with the straight forward advice and things i learn. Never knew Ford is Super cab and Chevy is Extended cab; nor that a VIN: N means it a 302
