Drive train slop?

I got 60k out of the factory tires; just replaced them with Toyos. A mysterious clunk occurs at most stops and starts all of a sudden. Reminds me of the bad U-joints on my old E350, but it's not u-joints. D'ya spose these guys put a gift inside one of the tires? Could it be a brake issue? All my miles are highway, so I expected the brakes to last longer. Any input on the F150 would be appreciated.

I'd check the e-brakes. Mine clunk when going into reverse, and again when going to drive. I'm just too lazy to adjust them, and am waiting for a chance to take it to the dealer under warranty. At least they don't stick. The pedal goes down too far though, so I know they need adjusted.

It could be the slip yoke on the driveshaft, I think Ford had some problems with the early models doing this.
