Opinions Please

I found an 89 Mustang GT for sale real cheap - $850. Its basically apart, but all the parts are there. Straight body, no rust, but does need a little cosmetic attention. The motor sounds good. Its only missing the interior carpet and it doesn't have stock rims. I don't see any previous damage and it has a clear title. I wasn't really looking for a car like this, but I'm thinking I could just put it back together and clean it up and sell it. I wouldn't spend any money on it except for buying it and towing it home. Spring is coming so I"d like to have it done by then and put an ad in the paper for it. Any opinions? Please put your 2 cents in.

If anything, it'd be a fun project. If it were me I'd probably just build it for myself. Personally though, with how the economy is shaping up and the fact that people aren't buying cars as much right now, I don't think you'll make enough profit to make the time worth it. That's why I said I'd probably just build it for myself.

Yep, I agree, I would fix it for myself. Nothing is selling right now worth a hoot. Besides who wouldn't want a nice mustang GT in thier driveway. It would be paid for with not a lot invested but time. After you rip it a round the block a couple of times, you probably wouldn't want to get rid of it anyhow.
