Clean looking truck. Its all shiney and clean, but whats under the hood? Details, details! Also I don't know that I've seen those chrome bullets mounted to the cowl. Are those chrome spotlights?

That's a damn nice looking truck, like the color and the pinstripe. As drof46, also curious about the 'chrome bullets'. It looks like the rear window was made to fit, thought about installing sliding glass window in my 65 but have not seen any that don't have the gap in the middle of the top edge. The truck is straight, does'nt have any rust issues, I like it, it's a keeper.

Hi all, thanks for the compliments. Ok,details: it was the venerable 292 with the three speed manual and Ford carb. The engine runs so good I decided not to touch it except for the headers. The chrome bullets are dummy spotlights. The previous owner had CB antennas there and I didn't want them. I found the "spots" to use the holes nicely. I can't for the life of me remember the color I painted it. The back window is from LMC. That is about the only product I have ever liked from them. The rear is one ratio abive stock(can't remember again) it keeps the r's to a respectable amount on the highway and keeps the torque good. ..Steve.
