e-Mail notice

How do I stop the e-Mail notices that someone has posted on the board. I don't check my mail daily so I sometimes have many, many e-mails filling up my box. I use my e-Mail box mostly for my music career and I need to eliminate these notices.

Thanks
Fernando

Hey Fernie!

What you have to do is go to your user cp and under "settings and options" click "edit options". Scroll down until you see "buddy post notification" - it's in two places - and select "no" (both places). Then scroll to the bottom of the page and click "save changes".

That should take care of the problem.

Guess you have a few emails to delete - sorry about that.

Steve, I have both boxes checked NO and I still get my email inbox filled up with an email regarding every thread that I have posted in or started for that matter. So for the hijack.

OK - that's a different matter. If you want to end email notifications for subscribed threads, go to your user cp, click "edit options", scroll down to "messaging and notification" and in the default thread subscription mode drop down box select "no email notification", then scroll to the bottom of the page and click "save changes".
