well i changed the water pump thermostat, and blew out the heater core checked the blend door and still no heat. the temp does not even go up after 10 mins of running at idle. After a short while the coolant will start to come out of the fill tank and spray around the engine compartment but the thing will not get warm. It is like the coolant is not going through the block??? anybody have any help for at all??
i had a plugged up heater core over the summer from bars leak. then i blew the wad of crap out and flushed the system for 2 hours and drained it...it worked fine for a while then no heat again.thats when i started over again then to the thermo and pump.. now i am thinking raditor? any ideas?
Did you purge the system of any air that may be trapped? If it is pushing coolant out the coolant tank the gauge should be showing something unless there is air and not coolant around the sending unit.
You want to make sure there is liquid around the thermostat so the thermostat will open and allow the coolant to flow. With the thermostat out fill to engine through the thermostat cavity until it is full and the thermostat comes in contact with the coolant. Put the housing back together and fill the coolant tank. Let the engine run and watch the temp gauge. It should come up to the normal range and the thermostat should open. You will be able to tell when it opens because the top radiator hose will get hot. Any air that is left in the system should purge itself with driving and hot/cold cycles.

i took the t-stat out and the coolant does not come out of the de-gas bottle anymore but i only put it in last sunday.it seams as there is a block somewere. if i put a hose on the heater core and try to flush it would that be better then putting the air compressor on it?
If the problem is there with the t-stat in place, but goes away with the t-stat removed, then logically the t-stat isn't working and is the source of the problem.
