Hey Everyone!
I am posting this for my one friend. He has a 91 F-150 and yesterday the brake lights and hazards stoped working. Also, the turn signals are blinking very slow, but they work. What would be causing this issue? The fuses are fine.
Do they make a Tee-connector for the 4-pin wire harness for the trailers? I tried looking online, but it seems they started the Tee fitting in 1992. Or does he have to tap into the brake/running light wires for this?
If he has one of those aftermarket "tee"s for the 4 way flat trailer wireing try removing it, put the factory harness back together and see if the problem goes away. I had one on my old truck and needed to replace it about every 2 years.

He doesn't have one on his truck. I wasn't sure if they are any made for the 91 model year. He wants to tow a small trailer so he will need the 4 pin plug. Do they make a Tee for this model year?
start with bulbs and bad socket connections.
move to bad ground connection.
Bulbs are good. Everything works except for the hazards and brake lights.
