Where does the wire go?
Link is from a friends site, more photos in my gallery.
The ignition coil was getting changed out. I know the wire with the orange cap goes on the coil post. The black wire the orange is tied into was loose and popped off something.
Anyone have any ideas?

I'm going to guess it's the A/C's electric clutch wire.
Easy enough to test, use a meter or test-light and figure out when it's "hot".

You aren't going to trace it far enough to count for anything.
The wires are there whether it came with the equipment or not.
"one size fits all ;)"
I special ordered my pickup -without- a radio (on purpose;)...
So, I used the radio-power-wire for my aftermarket (Sears/Dana) speed control. :)
"how can I tell you what it is from way over here, when -you- don't know
what it is right in front of you? :)"
That's what I'd tell my kids when they were little. LOL:)
