no fire
I recently replaced my upper and lower intake manifolds on my 86 5.0 EFI and now after indexing the distributor the engine will rotate but no fire. also the positive cable where it meets the hot serial bus gets really hot and the bus sparks and smokes. any ideas?

Assuming everything was fine before you changed manifolds, did you go back and check everything to make sure you didn't pinch any wires anywhere? It sounds to me like something is grounding somewhere. You might check all wires and be sure no insulation is worn off and making contact where it shouldn't.
