I just blew out my head gasket the other day, and while i was thinking about it i thought to myself, "what if i cracked the head instead of just blowing the gasket?" With that thought in mind,i thought i would ask you knowledgable individuals for tips on how to replace my heads in the most cost-effective manner. Where can i find the parts the cheapest? know anyone who has some for sale? My motor is a 69 390.

Hey 'Bean, take the heads to a machine shop and get them magnafluxed. Then you'll know if they are cracked or not and how to proceed from there.

not sure where you are but may to check out DSC Motorsport they have heads from $100 to $2000 per pair.
