fuel heater?

Hi guys, having a leak from the fuel heater thingie... it has coolant lines and fuel lines to it and sits in front of the fuel filter.

Anyone know what it is called and what the part # might be? I tried my dealer but they have no idea what it is... not diesel guys and I have a US truck (different fuel filter too)

Thanks,

Dave

Does the thing you're talking about look like this? If so, it's the HPOP (high pressure oil pump)

If so, you can order your O-rings from Replacement O-rings for Diesel Engines
if you know which spot is leaking.

They also sell other o-rings if that's not the right thing.

Nope, it looks like the top should unscrew like the fuel filter, it has a "nut" shape moulded into it and the coolant lines run into the left side and fuel lines run into the lower right....

Anyone?

Is this the large cylinder shaped aluminum body under the plastic cover on the top of the front of the engine? If so, that is the filter bowl. Where from there is the leak.

Hi Tenn, it sits above and forward of the fuel filter canister... it is making my head-liner sort of soaked with fuel (like it has a pin hole leak and only does it under pressure?) I am going to try to take a photo of it and post it here, this should be good because I am not exactly an expert at adding photies or anything fancy to my posts!

Thanks for looking you guys!
