Flash Question
I'm very angry with my local dealer. 
I got my truck to be checked for some intermitent smoking beside a couple things and they are talking me into reflash the computer at my cost. I know my truck is out of warranty. is a 2006 250 with 40??? miles, but my engine warranty should take care of that. 
Anyway my question for you guys is.
1. What reflash have been from 2006 to present???
2. Do someone know where to get that kind of info???
The thing is I ask them what is the flash about and they can't tell. I told them I need to know what flash number I have in my computer now and what flash you want to install in my truck and what are the changes are going to be with it. Otherwise how the heck I'm going to know if the flash you want to charge me is indeed necesary for my truck.
Can you imagine me paying for a heat inductive reflash in PR???
I really think they may be trying to do that. I got an OASIS about a month ago and I think this truck have never been flashed. Only an A/C complaint and a HPOP is the only thing showing on the report from PO.
