pcm diagnostics

pcm diagnostics
I have removed the pcm and checked for power to the pcm on pin 55 while grounding pins 25,51,77, 103. With the key on it showed 12.89V. When I plug the pcm in nothing happens and the wait to start light stays on. Does this mean my pcm is broken?

With the PCM plugged in if i ground out pin 94 the fuel pump will come on with the key on. Does this mean the psm is fuctioning normally and my problem lies somewhere else?

dont know what year truck you have..but there is a fuse and or relay that could have blown...also make sure the small tin spring clip is in place..that spring is a ground....it sits on the inside of the plastic cover and sticks out by one of the mounting bolts..if you find a bad fuse and a new fuse pops too..unhook your fuel bowl heater..there good for shorting out..

I took apart my fuse box ans found some corrosion on the circuit board inside. After scraping it off and putting it back together it fired right up. All is well now, thanks everone for all your help
