Red Hot Manifolds

I have a 91 f150 5.0l. I have recently cut the exhaust off about a foot behind the cat. After doing that I had a buddy tell me the were red hot going down the highway 65mph. is it the cut exhaut pipe causing this or a clogged cat or what and help will be great.....

probably a clogged cat, have you noticed a power or mileage loss?

cut the cats off, look at them if they are clogged pitch 'em. not clogged then u got a problum
