questions before beginning 1969 project

I have a 1969 f100 swb 2wd, 240 3 speed. Planning on swapping in 429pi with c6 and 9" rear from 1968 Galaxie 500 GT XL Fastback. I want to buy donor truck for power disc brakes, power steering, springs, engine perches, etc.

1.What year models will swap out parts? (73-79?)

2. Will I have to modify trans hump to clear the C6?

3. Will I need change oil pan or any other parts?

I am hoping to find maybe 73-79 2wd that had a big block to get most parts from one donor. What other problems will I encounter to make this project not a simple drop in swap?

Thanks

One truck that comes to mind is a 2wd 1979 F350. Came with a 460, front power disc brakes, power steering, linkages, PS pump, etc....but not a 9" (even if it was it would be too wide)
Good luck finding one, though. Thumbing through the 1967-72 forum for power steering and such should help.

BTW: Your truck "should" already have a 9", the C6 was an option behind the 352/360/390, and companies like landlproducts.com sells motor mount/swap kits.
