Since I park just off a state highway at work, when I leave after work I try to keep the RPM's around 2K until everything is warmed up. I found that when it is really cold, my MPH @ 2K is around 44 and will go up to almost 52 about the time it warms up enough to go into OD. Is this normal or should I be concerned about a pending problem. I have 4:10 gears on the F350 Dually.
Thanks Chase, I was thinking it was slip due to viscosity of the oil when it is really cold. Just hoping it's not a tranny problem, still have just over 500 to go for 300K.
It was a RV hauler before I got it. Pedals look like new but the CC buttons are completely worn. I put on ~100 miles/day between home and work, 6/7 days a week. Not going to "baby" it, but just keep on driving. Exhaust going on soon but looking at a BTS VB and then a chip.
