I was driving my truck 02 F250 adout 70 mph when it sound like i blow a tire(loud slapping sound) when i got pulled over and try to start it its will not turn over like its frozee up?????

 

Did you see oil on the ground or the engine afterwards?

Did you check the oil level also?

Sounds like something has "come loose"...a rod maybe?

Drum what do you think when I blew a spark plug out of the 4.6 2000 sounding like a loud slapping noise? Maybe a plug could be a chance still agrre not good!

 

It would still run if it was that.

 

Whoops didnt see the part about not turning over!

 

I guess I'm lucky in that I haven't suffered the blown plug on my truck....yet!

If it was to do it tomorrow or today, I couldn't complain as I have yet to pull the plugs on the engine since I have owned the truck. This truck has been so good in the time I've owned it that I can't complain if something happens. I hope to God it doesn't!

I know, I know...I'm asking for trouble but the truck runs so good at 173,000 miles!
