96 f 250 starting problem
96 f 250 351 auto ...every now and then like maybe 9 times a month my truck wont start when i turn the key nothing its just dead.then the 2nd time i turn the key it starts.i dont know what the heck it is.the truck has a new battery the alternator and starter are older.what you think it could be?

Could be dirty/loose connections at battery, starter relay (on inner fender) or the starter. Or loose/dirty ground connections. Or the starter relay is on the way out or the starter itself is defective or the ign./start switch (under the dash) needs adjusted. Hope this helps. Could also be defective neutral safety switch.
