KITT goes down again
Apparently Knight Rider is down the tubes -- unless somebody changed their mind again.
Can't say that I disagree. Usual problems with these kinds of shows. They don't really know how to show the car or whatever they're featuring as being very impressive. (Roaring engine and some minor tire squeals are not enough).
Besides that, the acting pretty much stinks. Lots of mumbling and not very believable action.
Wish they'd make a good techy show.

Thought the idea to bring it out from mothballs was a good one, saw the first show, the second, the third, and was saying to myself "when do the actors learn to ACT?!?!?!?", and "when do they get into some DECENT story lines instead of the cheasy crud they did in the original?".
They didn't.
As for "tech", you'd be amazed. FTE's clientele, being what it is (a bunch of pretty smart people), we're left wanting for more believability. Problem is, if they make it TOO real, they lose their core demographic.
If anything, the new Bionic Woman, Journeyman, and a few other decent new shows should have kept running. While the Bionic Woman had some things wrong with it, overall it was a dark show that made you think. Kinda like Criminal Minds started out. And Journeyman was just cool all around.

I love the car but was dissapointed with the show. The lab and everything was to fake. Every bad peron was a super hot girl. The original was better. I remember seeing the car at the auto-rama here in buffalo with the original bigfoot and bearfoot moster trucks. Man I'm getting old-------------33!!

The index given from the ratings show that it most likely will not be renewed, although they also say Law and Order will not be renewed so go figure.
I think the problem with the new one is they are trying to sell it exclusively with T and A, and by the way there is a cool looking Shelby Mustang on the show that does ridiculously unrealistic stunts. I don't have a problem with the body changing from normal mode to attack mode, Viper did that 15 years ago and it was a great show. When they use turbo boost to launch more or less straight up in the air I just have to shake my head though.
I like the show just because it is a giant Ford ad but I just don't see it lasting much longer, originally I said it would only go something like 11 episodes so I am already wrong about that. They killed off half the cast and tried to "reboot" the show a few weeks ago and it is a bit better but still not good.
