Please help decipher.F10JR592258WR. 115 Color. N/A Model.F100 Body. 481 Trans. F Axle. 09GVW. 5000 HP. 129 RPM. 4000 DSO. 510167Thanks

592258 = 1965 (WR? The VIN is only 11 digits thru 1980).

115" Wheelbase.

No Paint Code listed.

F100 = F100 2WD / 5,000 lbs. GVWR

481: 4 = Light Beige Crush Vinyl & Light Beige Wicker Pattern Vinyl / 81 = 81A Standard Cab.

F = Warner 4 Speed Transmission, either a T18 or a T98.

09 = Ford 9" Rear Axle / 3.70-1 / non Limited Slip / 3300 lb. Rear Axle Capacity.

5,000 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

129 Net HP @ 4,000 RPM

DSO 510167 =

51 = Denver CO Ford District Sales Zone Office, where the original selling dealer ordered the truck from.

0167 = Domestic Special Order number.

Your truck was special ordered from Ford, it may be because it was painted a non standard FoMoCo color, why no color code is listed.

The 4 speed was a RPO = Regular Production Order, so it was not a special order item.

381: Same as 481, except in green

581: Same as 481 except in red.

Usually, if the body code begins with a number: Standard Cab.

With a letter: Custom Cab.

IsoGrifo..I posted a comment on a thread as to the same issue...the material used on mine is also used in 66 trucks, and not just the pickups either...but its also not a CustomCab only material as I had thought for a long time...as its also used in the base model trucks. If one has the parts books and finds their particular name for the seat material and go looking throughout the list...the material is used on many rigs...mine also found its way into some E series rigs as well...all with different trim codes...but same product name and description...its royally confusing...and mind boggling...even moreso if one doesnt have the books and sees a different model or year truck with the same material as in theirs.

1965: 481 = F100/1100 // N/NT/T500/1100 (81A).

I agree, it's (somewhat) mind boggling with the parts catalog. However...

Without the parts catalog, one can't do diddly squat when it comes to decoding any Warranty Plate info.
