I can't ever seem to shave without getting razor burn under my chin. I have found that if I use the "art of shaving line" it won't do it as bad. So in order to keep things from getting bad I have to shave every other day or every third day. The art of shaving kit has a preshave oil, cream and I use a badger brush with it, and the after shave lotion. I can't use the cheap razors for the obvious reasons I have to use the g mach 3's I found the fusions were a waste. any ideas on how to prevent the bumps? i figure my old school approach to shaving will score well with the older crowd. not to many people know about the oil and use a brush anymore.

I'm the same way! What I find helps is to use after shave... If that doesn't help, you need to exfoliate the skin, and you can do that with "toner" - apply some on a cotton ball and wipe away... No im not gay, lol.
It contains alcohol, you can find it at the beauty section in many stores... A good one is made by "clinque" ... It's the only thing that has helped me...
Shave 'with' the grain...(in a manner of speaking).......Shave DOWN your face...and chin...and neck.....Instead of 'against' the grain.
Also...Shaving is MUCH easier if you do it after you've been 'steamed' in a nice, hot shower before shaving.....It's much better than just washing your face with warm, soapy water......Really relaxes the pores and the follicles......I almost always shave after my shower.
