I am. However, I have had a few issues with turbo surge at 2300 to 2600 rpm from a few different sources. Occurs when I pull a loaded trailer.
Ford cannot find anything wrong with the engine.
I was advised by the experts herein, to try the turbo vane control valve. I have a new one but it has been too cold to work on it.
The only tunes I can get two run without much surge is the canned tunes from SCT. I run the street and 50HP tow tunes. The street tune never surges, the tow tune just a little at 2300 rpm, I power though it over 2400.
I also had LOTS of white smoke at startup with the custom tunes. It never smokes with the canned tunes.
With the Ford stock tune it never smokes nor surges under load
I run that oil additive.. ?? forgot the name.. it does appear to run quieter.
When I replace the VGT valve I will try the custom tunes.
