My Dash Lights
Ever since i had the truck the far right section of the dash wont light up. So I decided to take it apart and look at it. I checked the bulb and replaced it and still nothing. Then I heard that it could have shorted out or something like that. and the way to tell is usually there will be a sign of smoke but the circuit board on the back looks brand now. I am wondering what is your thoughts.

On my 78 the white plastic like that holds the bulb broke so the bulb wouldn't make a good connection i bent the tab on the black thing that holds bulb got it to work and used r.t.v. gasket stuff to hold it in place. Didn't work for long like that.Seen a catalog where there remaking the white part because this issue.

There is a post titled "Totally baffoled on hard to get items", like 5 pages ago where number dummy gave some really good info on these gauge cluster things. Also my lights stopped working cuz my white cluster thing was decinegrating too. Anyway, check out that thread, towards the end, might help you out finding a new junkyard peice to potentially fix the issue.
