possible 72 400
Guys I am getting ready to rebuild my 400 but have been looking around and saw this today Ford LTD - 1972 Classic Does that add make any sense to you. there is no way if it hasn't been rebuilt or restored that it could be stroked to a 408 and wouldn't that simply mean that it is a 400 with a .30 over bore? I thought I might go look at it and offer around $1000. What do you think? Also is the 72 400 early enough to have the good (higher) compression, and not been detuned by ford for emmissions.

He´s saying that itsa a 351m-400 stroked to 402, im almost positive he ment he turned the 351m into a 400, anyways the good compression year was only the 71, the 72 had a straight up timming chain but lower compression than 71....
